Question 1

What is Holdfast?

Accepted Answer

Holdfast is operational software from Forever Meridian that tracks the last day you can still cancel or renegotiate a vendor contract. That date is the renewal date minus the notice period. A calendar reminder on the renewal date is already too late.

Question 2

How is this different from a calendar reminder?

Accepted Answer

A calendar reminder is almost always set on the renewal date. By then the notice window is closed and the vendor already won. Holdfast subtracts the notice period and treats that earlier date as the real deadline.

Question 3

Do you file cancellations for us?

Accepted Answer

No. Holdfast calculates the action date, keeps the money-at-risk view current, and drafts the letter or email. You send it through the method the contract requires.

Question 4

Is this legal advice?

Accepted Answer

No. Notice periods, methods, and remedies vary by contract and jurisdiction. Holdfast is an operations tracker. Confirm terms against the signed agreement. If a dispute is material, speak with counsel.

Question 5

Who makes Holdfast?

Accepted Answer

Forever Meridian, the same operator as AgentScript and PoolOps. Product inbox is holdfast@forevermeridian.com.

Question 6

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Vendor-book setup is $299 once (up to 15 contracts). Desk is $39/month or $390/year (50 contracts). Firm is $79/month or $790/year (unlimited, plus clause extraction). Free covers five contracts.

Question 7

Who is this for?

Accepted Answer

Operations, finance, and office managers at companies too small for Ironclad or a general counsel, and too busy to keep a perfect spreadsheet. Typical buyer: 5–80 employees, 15–80 vendor contracts.

Question 8

Can I cancel Holdfast anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Monthly plans cancel at period end. Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days if the workspace has not been used beyond setup.
